OSIR Design replacement carbon fiber hood for the 2010-2014 VW Golf, GTI and Golf R Mk6. Hood has two vents, one on each side with two carbon trays redirecting water to the front end No water will hit the engine and electronic components inside the engine compartment. Reduce high pressure inside the engine compartment under high speed. Release engine heat more efficiency. Version R (More affordable) made with 3K carbon surface with fiber mat at the very last layer. Full 12K carbon for the inside structure. Double sided vacuum infused preminum carbon fiber with a high gloss finish. Factory hood is about 33 pounds, this hood is less than 18 pounds. Ships oversized freight.
