GlowShift's Tinted 7 Color Series 100 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge gives you the ability to monitor fuel pressure levels from 0 to 100 PSI in the gas or diesel engine of your car or truck. Having this gauge will help ensure that your vehicle's fuel pressure is running at optimal levels, and is not too low which could result in loss of horsepower or damage to your fuel pump or injectors. The included 1/8-27 NPT Electronic Fuel Pressure Sensor features a small, compact design and can be installed directly to your fuel system for extremely accurate readings.

Tinted 7 Color Gauge Series

GlowShift's Tinted 7 Color Gauge Series comes standard with a cutting-edge design that includes a black gauge face and low profile magnified tinted lens. Whether your gauge is on or off, it will look amazing courtesy of this tinted lens feature which is at the heart of the series and gives your gauge a unique, stealth-like appearance. The illuminated red needle sweeps 270 degrees and is powered by stepper motor technology, giving you an effective combination of incredibly accurate gauge readings with extremely smooth needle movement. The Tinted 7 Color Gauge Series comes with the ultra-bright LED solid color modes Blue, Green, Red, Teal, Yellow, Purple and White. Also featured is GlowShift's 7 Color through dial lighting system which allows you to select and change the color of your gauge lighting display by simply pressing the button located along the front of the gauge. Easily cycle through the 7 Solid Color Settings and 2 Color Cycle Modes that utilize all of these powerful LED colors. Through these options, you can adjust the color of the gauge to match your vehicle's factory dash lights, or you can customize the color and add your own personal touch and style to the inside of your car or truck. Plus with the Color Memory feature, you won't have to reset the color of your gauge every time you turn on your vehicle. Your gauge will reflect your most recent color setting the next time it is active. By connecting the orange wire of your gauge to the factory headlight switch, you'll be able to dim your gauge 30% when your headlights are turned on to reduce the brightness while driving at night.

A vehicle's fuel system performs multiple tasks, one of which is regulating the pressure of the fuel being supplied by the fuel pump. Fuel Pressure Gauge Install Parts

GlowShift's fuel pressure gauge kit comes with accessories required for installation. In addition to the electronic fuel pressure sensor with ⅛-27 NPT male threads, you will also receive a 9' Sensor Harness and 2' Power Harness with modular connectors so that each wire can be easily connected to the back of the gauge. A Gauge Visor is available which attaches to your gauge and helps prevent sun glare as you're taking readings. All mounting hardware is also included, and the installation instructions offer comprehensive step-by-step details on the fuel pressure gauge install to help walk you through the entire process.

Why Do I Need A 100 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge?

A fuel pressure gauge is the right choice for any car or truck that has undergone aftermarket modifications. Higher fuel pressure equates to increased fuel delivery, something which is typically seen in many vehicle upgrades. Additionally, as other modifications are being made to a car or truck, it is vital to make sure the vehicle's fuel system is keeping up with those changes as well. In racing applications, for example, if boost capacity has been increased, changes to the fuel pressure system should also take place incrementally. Another example of a vehicle that has undergone aftermarket modifications is a truck which has been overhauled to take on strenuous work applications that involve covering long distances and carrying heavier amounts of cargo. A vehicle performing these kinds of tasks would require higher fuel pressure levels as well.

Note: This gauge includes a 1/8-27 NPT thread size on the sensor and your vehicle may not come equipped with the same thread size. An additional threading adapter may be required for the installation of the sensor. Extended Harness: The optional 7 Color Series Extended 18' Sensor Harness is ideal for any aftermarket lift pump that is located at the rear of the truck. This 18' sensor harness will replace the included 9' sensor harness of your gauge if it is not long enough to reach the desired location of your sensor. This sensor harness effortlessly snaps into the 1/8-27 NPT sensor and the back of the electric fuel pressure gauge.
